Flutter kick without breathing
The child holds a kickboard in their hands and pushes off from the pool wall. Immediately after the push-off, they place their face in the water. The goal is to swim as far as possible without taking a breath. Alternatively, you can set targets such as, "Try to swim 10 meters with only two breaths." Some children prefer swimming 25 meters on their stomach instead of on their back. However, swimming on the stomach can be slightly more challenging, as unlimited access to air is not possible, unlike backstroke. This exercise helps the child swim longer distances without breathing and is highly recommended not only for this core exercise but also for future lessons.
