Body wave on the back
In this exercise, the body wave is performed on the back. The principle remains the same: the legs stay together, and the movement originates from the hips for at least 15 meters. Most children find it easier to generate the motion from the hips when lying on their back. Additionally, this exercise can significantly raise the heart rate, which might cause breathlessness when done on the stomach. On the back, children can breathe freely and fully focus on the hip movement and the sensation of the water against their legs.
